Computer Network Defense

This 3-day class will instruct students on the fundamentals of computer network defense through a mix of presentations and hands-on exercises facilitated by Leidos CyberNEXS platform.  Topics covered will include general security fundamentals, operating system hardening for Windows and UNIX-based systems, and will include exposure to vulnerabilities and exploits, intrusion detection, incident response, and computer forensics.  Students will demonstrate their practical skills by completing a practical as the class progresses.
