Accessing IC3 Complaint Data

IC3 complaint data can be accessed by law enforcement personnel through the FBI's Law Enforcement Online portal at www.leo.gov. This database gives law enforcement access to the more than 2 million complaints filed with IC3, and allows users to search complaints, build cases and share information.

Access to the IC3 complaint database is free to law enforcement agencies. If you do not already have a LEO account, then you must complete an application in order to access the information. For assistance in estalishing your account, please go to www.leo.gov and fill out the application.

To access IC3 complaint data:

  • Log on to www.leo.gov
  • Click on the Services tab. This will display the IC3 icon.

A reminder: Only law enforcement agencies with an ORI (Originating Agency Identifier) number or FBI personnel will have access to the IC3 data.
